While we do our best to keep you informed about the latest police news and alerts in Ashford, it can sometimes be challenging to receive timely
updates from the police due to their busy schedules.
To stay up to date, we’ve included direct links to the Surrey & Spelthorne
Police Facebook pages and websites, which are regularly updated
with the latest information.

Street a Week is an initiative where we take our community policing van to streets that have experienced a high number of reports in recent weeks. We also target accessible locations that serve several surrounding roads, allowing residents from multiple streets to meet with us in a central location. This provides an opportunity for the community to raise concerns, receive crime prevention advice, and engage directly with their local policing team.
We also hold monthly Meet the Beat drop-in sessions at Fordbridge Community Centre, usually on the last Wednesday or Friday of each month. The venue is centrally located within the community and is a well-used local hub, making it an accessible and welcoming place for residents to meet their local policing team. These sessions provide an opportunity for people to discuss concerns, receive crime prevention advice, and stay informed about local policing issues.
